Perhaps you lack reading competencies however you can quite clearly read that my comment was with regard to future projects, Simon. I'm really not sure what you are trying to argue here. If you were a freelancer, would you appreciate a high-value client publicly stating that you are a slow worker?

It would be lovely if filmmaking worked in such a way, however that is sadly not the reality of the world that we live in. Especially when said scripts are tied into additional projects and in the retention of actors and crew.

I’m sure it wasn’t said with any bad intentions however it can’t be very healthy for his reputation in the industry when a notable director has openly stated that he is slow to deliver scripts.

Loki is well worth a watch, but many do very much suffer from being eight-part films. Funnily enough, the one property that could have done with being a series ended up being a movie (Eternals).

I was completely against a fifth instalment until I heard the concept of the antagonist. A film about how iPads have begun to raise children seems incredibly interesting.

I heard that one of the reasons behind the reshoots was because Disney viewed the original as “too bleak”, so the original direction would likely have been more tonally in-line with Andor.

It certainly shouldn't be a focus, the emphasis should absolutley be on the newer characters. However it wouldn't have been difficult to achieve either. We're talking about one of the most iconic trios in cinema history, after all. I can reason with Han and Leia's situation. Luke's? Absolutley not.

Disney had one shot with the original cast and sadly squandered it. We never even got to see them reunite. I'm honestly shocked that they tried to make up the sequel trilogy as they went along. Like others, I prefer not to think of them as canon as they exist to the detriment of what came before.

Ah, then that’s my mistake. Some streaming platforms do cinema events. I just attended one yesterday, actually. If it’s to be released for steaming on those dates then there’s no issue. They did that with Wallace and Gromit at Christmas and it was a great time for the family!

Those are days for spending with family and friends respectively. Expecting cinemas to be open on those days is just cruel.

I wouldn’t even give it that much credit. The film quite literally starts with a “ur mum” prank call. The cinematography was spectacular, however all the writing set out to do was subvert expectations, even to the detriment of characterisation and developing plot lines.

It simply won’t happen. The war in Ukraine has reinforced the perceived value of nuclear deterrence. It may be argued that had Ukraine retained its nuclear arsenal, Russia would have been deterred from invading.
