I think it is good that it addresses the negative feedback head-on in section 4.5.

Check out the bike carriage on new trains on the 'London North Western' line from Euston. No booking necessary. Some members of CCC went on a Brompton Adventure to Ashdown House yesterday. Highly recommended.

The proposed diagonal is a permissible move that way. One of the advantages of having cycles on the inside.
