Idk how you could think this is a coaching problem when they didn’t exact same thing all season last year…with a different coach.

Yeah, it’s great for preventing this…definitely not necessary when we are making determinations based on a matter of millimeters.

It is sadly a pretty tight window when you factor in the veteran superstars (I’m not emotionally ready to think about any of that yet) but they have a chance to not only make a big statement this year, but be a legitimate threat for the next few seasons if they play their cards right.

So expectations for this season were never unreasonable, but with this goaltending (Murashov included) backing this current roster…a full year of experience/maturity and some smart decisions with the roster and this group should be making the rest of the league take notice.

We have not had an injection of youth that has felt this impactful since the Flower/Crosby/Staal/Malkin early days, and it took a little while for the realization to set in, but these guys (especially Kindel) are damn good hockey players. I know they are on somewhat of a Cinderella run right now…
