I SWEAR I am not deliberately planning holidays around places with James Bond connections but our hotel is 2 mins from where Ian Fleming stayed in 1958 and was inspired to write his ‘The Hildebrand Rarity’ (from the For Your Eyes Only collection). So we went for a martini!

Had the good fortune last night to attend the @TheIanFleming paperback launch of the new Raymond Benson penned Felix Leiter adventure. I really can’t recommend it enough!

Had so much fun at The Comedy About Spies last night! @mischiefcomedy.bsky.social put on a terrific show and the comedic timing of the cast was impeccable. Not sure who arrived on the No Time to Die branded bike but I appreciated seeing it parked outside the theatre all the same 😂 go see the show!

Congrats to those in North America who have received their 4K Sean Connery 007 sets. I'm very happy for you. Not jealous at having to wait until the end of the month at all. Enjoy the boxset. I hope it makes you very happy.

As a kid, I adored the Anthony Horowitz Alex Rider books (they were my gateway into Ian Fleming) so it's cool to see there will soon be new James Bond stories specifically for a younger skewing audience. I will also absolutely be reading them myself when they're out, of course...

I'm good with the steelbook designs (actually really like FRWL, GF and DAF) but the standard case art is bizarre to me. A collage of poster art is a great concept but this is much too text heavy. I guess Bernard Lee would have been happy with the prominent name placement!
