When you get into one of these groups, there’s only a couple of ways you can get out.

One is death, the other is mental institutions.
I’m really happy you guys focused a good amount on Isaacson in these, because he’s a total hack.

He managed to write a perfect book at the perfect time to make it very clear he feels no responsibility to his readers.

Mina, I’m happy you’re willing to give him the benefit of the doubt but the overlap of “didn’t know the gesture was antisemitic” and “willing guest on Adin Ross’s stream” is almost impossibly small.

If he has any access to their chat, which he does, he knew what it was.

The “distract from their winning streak” line gives it away. The DNC thinks it’d serve as a recommendation to get more “radical” with voters in a way the right wing could weaponize for 2026.

Everyone keeps saying they want moderate candidates, but why does every election wind up being between extreme candidates?

Pay me $500k to find out.

we might be on the precipice of a Bidenesque "we can't ignore this any longer" moment

Always someone trying to argue it’s different this time, always someone willing to listen.

The first places we started building it, on Tinder and Facebook, are the first places you’re seeing this form.

Go meet people offline, don’t post on IG, etc, are common pieces of advice once you reach despair as users of these services.

Donald Trump won’t read your posts but all your friends who are also in a pedophilia ring will.

she can use this to wind up closer to trump at the end and play a stronger role in the post-midterms revisions to the cabinet

If we have any degree of time to prepare, you will see its economic impact on high frequency data charts.

Hours worked decline, alcohol sales spiking.

One of those opinions that you MUST be too online to hold
December 12, 2025 at 3:58 PM
Those things, but also theater interpersonally.

I think we’ll see a return of t3h PeNgU1N oF d00m type randomness, etc.

Absolutely, and it shows a failure of imagination that people only see techno-optimism as AI optimism.

Adopting a pro-technology stance is part of envisioning a better world.

Committing seppuku because my media consumption benefitted a bad person for what I believe to be the first time, not checking.

Everyone should have at least a few things that make them go Sorkin mode, and if they don't, it's their job to find it.

Go to Yosemite or something.
December 9, 2025 at 10:40 PM
did you post this here specifically so Heifetz would see it?
December 9, 2025 at 2:31 AM
Might seem harsh, but this guy’s playing one of the worst QB games I’ve seen from an SEC program in a long time
December 7, 2025 at 12:12 AM
The “This you?”s of 2027 are gonna feed families
December 6, 2025 at 10:19 PM
“QB too good” is the reason OSU has no chance
December 6, 2025 at 10:17 PM
Mr. Popularist believes we should try to get a constitutional amendment passed? What will this amendment poll at? 20%?
