I first presented this paper on city #lament, #CCM and a grassroots theology at @uniofstandrews.bsky.social. Glad that this has now been published while I am a staff here, and at @cswcedinburgh.bsky.social
journal, where I did my PhD. (1/2) #HongKongProtests

Grateful for the engaging conversation about my keynote last week at the SSCE conference at
@yorkstjohn.bsky.social
on trauma-informed #PublicTheology and for how we theologians can assist our church communities to rethink our practices in church, academia, and society.

You've been kidnapped. The characters from the last TV show you watched are trying to rescue you. Who is coming to save you?

According to the character setting, I think Jackal will kill me after he saves me.😂🔫

Taiwanese theologian C.S. Song (1929-2024; 宋泉盛), known for his narrative theology and interfaith dialogue in #Asia, died this morning.

Thank you for laying the path of the field of Asian theology ahead for us.

Having studied and taught about the Lausanne Movement, I, among many other leaders, are slightly disappointed about the logistics and the somehow far-right leaning ideologies going on this week. But this also shows that much work is yet to be done in the theological world.

My time with #L4Congress has come to an end. It’s good to have worshipped, served, and learnt together with 5200+ global leaders. I also quite appreciate the fact that we acknowledge different theological approaches, both within the TWG, participants, and among Korean leaders.

My current reading: Ulises A. Mejias & Nick Couldry’s #DataGrab. A very accessible yet constructive book talking about the problem of #coloniality in the digital world.
