"The guy who wrote it's raining tacos has an Emmy" is going to be a fun fact that earns me no friends in among the schoolteachers

I feel like when you get to "Don't listen to music or podcasts if you are walking anywhere" on your list, you should maybe ask whether you're being helpful and providing safety tips, or whether you've lost the real points somewhere along the way.

Rest of family is camping as of today,
I still have work tomorrow, and one kid was in daycare while my wife left to set up the campsite.

Picked up the kid, took him to the campsite, had dinner, made s'mores, and managed to make it home for bed.

Get to ride back on the acoustic after work tomorrow

Found this note taped onto my kid's room door. They're training to develop immersive sims I see

Went to a Lion's game. Incredible seats at a 50 yard line. Not "the", of course, because the field is a goofy Canadian sized field.

Saw a good Canadian football score

Oh and Snoop Dogg gave a pre-game concert

I don't know if anyone's had this thought before, but British Columbia is beautiful

On the way home, right around these hills, 22k in, a dude rocketed paste on the second one, casually goes, "These hills, eh", and speeds off, hitting 35km/hr on flats and descents easy.

I get close at a light, he's on a Fixie.

That dude fucking rocks. Coolest thing I've seen in a while

Spent the last two work days at UBC. Taking a bus from transit was going to take just as long as biking, so I just had a nice long commute. Snuck in just over 100km in two days, and took in some gorgeous views. Photo doesn't really do it justice

Forgot to separate the tracking on my "dropping the kid off" and "riding home by myself" parts of my morning

We found a real beat up Norco kids bike a few months ago for free on the side of the road.

One shifter and pedal completely destroyed, no grips, brakes all sponge, etc.

Finally got around to restoring it today

Also swapped out both kids bikes grip shifers for triggers - make it easier for 'em

Oh yeah, we prioritize sustainable multi-modal transit all right

I think the ridiculus semantics of "Mathematical programming" having nothing to do with computers, but instead dealing with, like, using mathematics to set the program of events at an army base is one of my favourite confusing terminology origin stories.
