It's pie you get from a bakery for lunch. Macaroni cheese in a savoury pie case topped with cheese. Can be eaten hot or cold.

A scotch (meat) pie and bean and mash pie are usually also available.

Made a new #fungifriends in the form of a shaggy ink cap.

It's edible but I'm not brave enough or confident enough in my identification skills.
Coprinus comatus, the shaggy ink cap, lawyer's wig, or shaggy mane. It's an white edible mushroom with a shaggy skin with brown fleks. The head is oblong above a short stem. The grass it sits in is full of autumn leafs.

Also the Isle of Mull is awesome but bit harder to get to. The trip up to Oban is through wonderfully scenery is compensation though.

Camping at Calgary Bay is one of my favourite memories.

This site is surrounded by residential houses and is only a ten-minute walk from the High Street - it's simply not an appropriate or secure location. Inverness's Liberal Democrat MP Angus MacDonald told the BBC he supported the use of military sites to house asylum seekers, but that the chosen base seemed "a bit odd" given it is in the town centre. "It's effectively the same," he told BBC Radio 4's Today programme, adding that to his knowledge it was an open barracks without security. "I very much thought the idea of putting them in army camps was to have them out of town, and make them less of an issue for the local population."

What is concerning about people fleeing war and persecution being house near amenities? Would you prefer a more secure camp in the middle of nowhere with double barbed wire fences with guard towers?

Today's harvest is rather colourful!

Seems that @policescotland.bsky.social aren't really discouraging the behaviour with their 0.06% daily detection rate for mobile phone use while driving.

The later HMS Swift was a bit more swift till it wasn't.
HMS Swift, S Class destroyer founders of sword beach after hitting a mine. Her bow and stern protude from the water, her keel broken. The mine was placed the night before by an E boat at HMS Algonquin's anchor buoy. She had taken Swifts place on Operation Decoy due damage suffered by air attack.
