I live in Surrey UK where I love gardening and often get lost for hours in the garden or allotment. I also enjoy cooking , weaving, spinning yarn, photography and playing with my new pocket 3 video camera.
I adore my glass dip pen. Always my goto.

I love dandelions but have spent the last week picking seed heads before they spread but there's always some to continue for next year. Soon to catch the bluebells, forgot me nots and green akanite

Just buy the pen and a single sketch book. See how you get on. By the way, dip pens are fabulous for drawing.

I've learnt the hard way, that it will stay there unless you actually do more to it or cut it off. I know from experience that the brain thinks if you leave it long enough it will just disappear but no, you just have to push through. Try doing 2cm a day most days. It's surprising how it adds up.

I just craved a packed lunch. I offered to make it myself but my parents insisted on paying 5 shillings a week for food I never ate and most often locked myself in the loo to avoid.

I occasionally visit the Ladybird collection at the Rural life museum in Reading, Berkshire. A lovely place to reminisce.

Oooh I'd rather have that than mashed potatoes in perfect ice-cream scoops with loads of black lumps in, indescribable "meat" that looked like rope and wizzened carrots that tasted decidedly not like carrots all topped with congealed gravy. I did my utmost to disappear at lunch times.

I only had the winter book when I was little. Perhaps I should seek out the others?

We used to love seeing bats sweeping around in the dusk sky until my neighbour had plastic eave covering put on their house no doubt trapping them inside 😭

Take it into an Apple store. It's surprising what tricks they have to sort things. I was amazed when I took my computer in.

My AI requests can be made too. This one I asked for SpongeBob in a pram 😆

A curious question, do you ever look back on old days or could they just be cleared? I'm not sure I'd look back at my to-do list saying 1, mow the lawn 2, buy fish.
