On top of Thancred having changed jobs so recently, he's also excluded, at least partly, from jobs that use magic in any way, given his whole can't use magic situation

Like, IMO, theres a similar thing happening in both GU and Wilds where the player character is, at least potentially, REALLY strong, if you know your moveset, its just that in GU, it depends on your hunter style, but in Wild, its just built into your one and only kit

See, I also went back to GU, but I've also been intermittently playing GU since like, base Rise came out. I do think its harder in a sense, but at the same time, I don't find anything before the fated four to really be threatening. Granted, I mainly play Valor LS and GS, which are nutty
