Some great news to send us into the holiday weekend — AB900 was voted out of the Senate Appropriations Committee today. The bill now heads to the Senate Floor for its penultimate hurdle before landing on the Governor's desk. Thank you to everyone who has supported us so far. Stay tuned!

During our visit, CCLT's Capacity Building grantee Sierra Foothill Conservancy's Ops. Director and Biologist Jessica Thompson & Southern Sierra Miwuk Nation's Secretary and Director of Stewardship Tara Fouche-Moore spoke about the Mariposa Tribal Partnership & Resilience Initiative Project.

We also visited their most recent acquisition, Luginbuhl Ranch Preserve. Both projects further expand their existing conservation efforts and are supported by CCLT's Project Advancement Grant, funded by the Wildlife Conservation Board. 🌲 #CCLTOutOnTheLand

Grass Lake-Golden Gate Flats is a seasonal wetland along the Pacific Flyway and adjacent to a wildlife crossing being built across HWY 97. During our visit, we even saw a pair of nesting Greater Sandhill Cranes. It's also an important corridor for Roosevelt elk, mule deer, pronghorn & gray wolves.
