Also just a handful of technical things I really like:
-Gradients that overlay on the screen, usually from the corners or top edge
- Direction edge lights on the characters
-Flat framing
-Bloom, generally only in the bg
-A lot of backlighting
-Very flat texture painting on char, more detail on bgs
