Eleven years ago today, three young American Muslims were executed in their Chapel Hill home by their neighbor in an Islamophobic hate crime.

More than a decade later, we continue to pray for them & their families and advocate for an end to hate in all its forms.

He’s an asylum seeker taken at a routine ICE check-in on 12/3/2025.

Legal victory, alhamdulillah. Due process still matters.

Alameda County just took a powerful stand.

The Board of Supervisors voted unanimously to establish ICE-Free Zones, blocking ICE from using county-owned property for enforcement operations.

This is how local governments protect immigrant communities.

Santa Cruz is the 1st city in CA to end its Flock automated license plate reader (ALPR) contract—a win for privacy & civil liberties.

ALPRs enable broad location tracking & data-sharing—a risk to immigrant communities.

A Palestinian educator was reported for wearing the Palestinian flag at her child’s school event. She never taught there.

No rules were broken—yet the district investigated.

Nov. 7, 2025: Vigil4Gaza protesters in Sunnyvale were violently attacked while hanging Palestinian flags. The assailant was arrested.

Jan. 7, 2026: Court ordered a 100-yard stay-away + GPS monitoring. Charges include battery & assault with a deadly weapon.
