BREAKING: In a historic moment, the Sixth (Legal) Committee of the U.N. General Assembly has decided--by consensus--to elaborate a Convention on the Prevention and Punishment of Crimes Against Humanity!

The Sixth Committee has started discussing the proposed treaty on crimes against humanity. The CAH Initiative reminds States that consensus means agreement, not unanimity. And while maintaining consensus is ideal, States should take a vote if necessary. It is time to make a decision.
