Terrific report on terrible anti-consumer impact from another gem from Florida's deregulation of its insurance market. @publiccitizen.bsky.social
840,000 insurance policyholders in Florida are trapped in a mandatory arbitration system where the insurer almost always wins.

Regular people are left to pick up the pieces and pay the settlements.

We need a real investigation and accountability for this broken system.

🙌 CA’s former Insurance Commissioner @cadavejones.bsky.social, says Big Oil should help pay for the home insurance crisis. Arguing fossil fuel giants, who are responsible, should share the cost of climate-driven insurance losses.
