Oma to the best grandkids ever! "May you live to see your children's children". Eastern Orthodox, Bulwark Type Never Trumper.
La Marca Prosecco at our grocery store was $22.49 yesterday, up from $15.99 last year & $13.99 on sale last year at the same store. I let out an audible yelp when I saw that. Make no mistake normal Americans feel the impact. Maga will not survive the 2026 elections and then Prosecco for everyone!

I think the shock value of the double tap, which strictly violates the example the military gets in their war crimes training, is why this one is getting so much attention. Even if one accepts this is a "war", the double tap is against all rules of war & is an indisputable international crime.

We love our New York Greek diner coffee cups...and we are not from New York nor are we Greek!

There ought to be warnings before letting me see a photo like this. I guess this is the new meaning of Black Friday. Eeeeewwww.

It isn't just that. They worry about the immigrants bringing their culture when in fact evidence would suggest that the immigrants take on US culture. I am 1st gen on one side, 2nd on the other & a Romanian man once told me I was the most American person he had ever met. It was not a compliment.

They really must think "the little people" are stupid. This absolutely infuriates me 'cause I actually do get math and comparisons. 🙄

I hate that part in me, too. But, it's there.

I am still trying to understand how this happened. I guess the Church has always been tormented by departures from the faith; inquisitions, bad popes, heresies, pillaging crusaders, priests blessing bombs with holy water, and this marriage between politics and religion is just par for the course.

60 Minutes ran a piece on this. The eyes of those farmers said more to me than their words. I am so very haunted by them. They need help now!

The Biden administration tried the same tactic. I remember people unhappy with me because I didn't support the claims of that administration either. I am retired and keep track of every dollar I spend. I have the data. The numbers don't lie...for Biden or for Trump.

I cannot wait to see this. I too am wondering how in the heck this could have happened to sane people. The lure of power, fame and fortune is too strong for most to maintain truth, honor and integrity. We are grateful for the few who escaped, like you.

"Frankie, a four-month-old Caribbean Flamingo whom Mr. Woolcock described as 'aloof' and 'quite a character'. Well, of course she went to France! France was made for her and she for France. Bon chance, little one. You made a good choice

It didn't work for Biden/Harris, it won't work for Trump. People may be gullible but when it comes to their wallet, they typically know what is or is not in it.

Georgia is getting one of these too in their GA House District 121. Early voting begins next week with the election scheduled for Tuesday, Dec. 9th. Oconee will vote R but I think a chunk of that R will be replaced by D and Clarke will vote D, capturing Dems and Independent votes. Can't wait.

Buddy creeps me out. I am frustrated beyond measure at my fellow Georgians who cover themselves in the Christian Flag but refuse to see who they have gotten in bed with. I pray every night that the scales fall from their eyes. That their childhood bible lessons don't just die on rocky soil.

My mom, a German Catholic immigrant and ultimately naturalized citizen, would say that Thanksgiving wasn’t one of her holidays (she thought it was Protestant). So I do get this. We celebrated but her heart wasn’t in it and she hated turkey.

Our little one sleeping on my legs while I finish a baby blanket for one of the young moms at our Church. He loved this project as the weather just got cold where we are and he stayed warm under the blanket while I worked.

When our son was in the 1st grade his teacher was concerned because he was always off on his own playing by himself. I never saw this as a problem. I thought, "Isn't it great he knows how to keep himself busy and entertained?" Of course, later we saw where this went. He is different yet wonderful!
