Woke up this morning to find out I am taking a substantial paycut. As such, if you are in need of mixing and mastering for affordable rates, please contact me. Currently, I'm like $1800 a month short of where I should be just to keep my kids fed and the lights on.

Thinking back to my college bio teacher being presented with a packet of paper from a classmate refuting climate change, taking a single glance at the author, and telling my classmate to leave the lecture room. I only wish to channel that sort of energy in my 50s.

Massive RIP to Patricia Routledge. I used to watch Keeping Up Appearances after school on PBS. The humor was lost on me as a kid, but her chops doing pratfalls were always appreciated. Anyways, the pilot is one of my favorites, if only for the phone conversations.

Fewer things spark joy like receiving a correspondence from an attorney about a complaint, contacting said attorney to verify your identity, and finding out that you are not the person they are looking for. The sense of relief is immense, would not recommend.

Finally aligned my workload to get an opportunity to write some new stuff on guitar. Naturally, while running errands two days ago, the heavy ass door on my car smashed half of my fretting hand. No broken bones, but pressing the strings is absolute hell.

In a rental car at the moment, while my car is in the body shop getting some paint touch-ups. Having driven an electric car for the last 4 years, I had to call the rental place 3 times to ask if the rumbling and sputtering was normal. I was told, yes, this was normal for a new Chevrolet.
