TLDR you’re right to be skeptical of a Dr, esp. if they’re pushing this. But also you did get the info second hand so worth asking your daughter more etc. Most important thing is to feel heard by psychiatrist and feel like you can drive the decisions, if you want to and are capable, imo.

don’t see it as any more valuable than for curiosity’s sake, seems like I’d just cost $$ you can use on more appointments/ therapy instead lol.

Not my field directly but I’m close to it that there was a talk about it in a seminar I attended this summer.
My understanding is this type of work is still very early and not clinically validated yet.
If your daughter is really struggling (& has been) with meds, could be worth it. Otherwise

There are some known pharmacogenomic effects for ADHD meds, but you don’t need an LLM for that? And idk why a Dr would use that. There’s a research, evidence-based database with that info. ClinGen is the name I think. Or one of their other connected sites, they have lots of similar namings 😅

I don’t have the answers but I read a post from the same author a few days ago about deviantart and what the art community used to feel like and it resonated so much. Again no idea how leaflet can help tho 🙃

it’s user upload based and next after ui changes I’m adding ability to not just follow on bsky, but also tangled or add to list. can’t think of other apps that have separate follows tho 🫠
