Just realized I write my male characters like 60s pulp writers wrote women. Sexy and stupid.
I relate to women characters more, but men more often come off as happy-go-lucky-stupid. Wish I was more like that, but I'm really not.
In a way, it's all wish fulfillment on my part.

I don't blame people for using shortcuts to create art.
It's just disheartening to think they won't realize they could be losing something in the process.
I also realize the world I knew is slowly disappearing and I'm scared. That I need to create to live, others not as much.
