Watched 20,000 Leagues Under the Sea because I honestly had never seen it. Love James mason and Kirk Douglas and Peter Lorre and all that - but wow what a clumsily directed movie.

I’ve been in recovery for what seems like forever. Took me 5 years to get one year of sobriety finally. I have barely left my home in years except for work. This is so important to me. I can’t wait.

If anyone else in recovery or not hasn’t seen it you really should see “Dispatches from Elsewhere”. It helped me in my recovery. It’s worth seeing no matter what.

Once in a while I think about the movies that are just so strange I wonder how they got made. Im thinking about movies like “Bubba Ho Tep” and “Tideland”. I imagine pitching these stories to a producer and them listening and thinking this is a story that belongs on the big screen.

I look at the below exchange. They don’t know why they hate him they were just told to. They just want to send him away to Liberia as if that’s a thing we should do to people. Glad he’s home. I can’t believe it took this long.
