My heart also breaks for the stigma suffered by the gay community - there was so much disinformation about how AIDS was spread - I remember some school staff training in the Ryan White era. What would we do if we had an HIV+ student?!

He is perpetuating the stigma of AIDS/HIV - a disease that is only caught by undesirable people. The reality is it took beautiful people in their prime of life, children, whole families. A generation missing in many African countries - now those families are missing grandparents as a result.
