There are absolutely downsides to where we are with media, but the explosion of longform informational videos is phenomenal.

I have no interest in sitting for over 2 hours for a movie. But I'll pop on a 3/4 hour video by Defunctland, Dan Olsen, HBomb, FD, Shaun, Jenny, and co w/o a second thought.

Those are made at the Rochester Tailored Clothing factory in Rochester, NY (formerly known as the Hickey Freeman factory before they offshored production). This is a unionized workforce with immigrants from around the world, some of whom have been with the factory for 50+ years.
