My sister just sent me this, my mom saved this pic I had emsiled yo her w @joshmankiewicz.bsky.social at Dinner w @datelinenbc.bsky.social a couple of years before the pandemic. My hair was considerably less grey! Keith, Lester, Andrea, Dennis, Susan, all are the loveliest of humans.

My mother was laid to rest yesterday, Monday. My sisters and I are numb. The world keeps turning. Even so, remember love. Try to be kind. Try to be a sliver of light in the dark, however and wherever you find community. This year of loss can’t be over soon enough.
