Do we all tgibk the right wing press will commend Starmer for backing Britain and standing up to Trump to get another back down. Of course not - they will spin this towards Farage

John MCglynn managing this side could be something
Make it happen Luis

Well deserved - hes been big difference maker today. If we sort the back out we might actually be something decent

Detek Young speaking for us all there "can we just give goals for gods sake"

3-2 and its only half time...just keep attacking on the left and get Nisbet in the middle
January 24, 2026 at 3:54 PM
Dont like to moan about officials but this ref has been appaling. That Devlin booking sums it all up
January 24, 2026 at 3:52 PM
How the fuck are we losing. What us going on!!!
January 24, 2026 at 3:32 PM

Keskenin looks in the mood today

As for Aberdeen - despite no new manager I am impressed with some of the players arriving. Cameron looked really good last week and Liam Morrison is a strong experience addition at the back. Still big concerns over Mitov and fact we arent scoring but hopefully some more improvement today and a win

Blockbuster weekend of football with two massive games

Hearts take on Celtic at Tynecastle - the last 2 games arguably kicked off 3 of the most turbulent months for Celtic this century. No Shankland or Devlin but not many new faces at Celtic - can O'neill do it again
Am going for 1-1 all here
....

The Sun Newspaper - which for years has championed itself as the paper that represents the real military soldiers of the UK has practically no coverage of Trumps disgraceful comments about UK soldiers.
Clearly showing just how much Trump and Murdoch are conspiring right now
January 24, 2026 at 12:44 PM
Farage is in a real pickle. A LOT of reform voters are x military who are appaled by Trumps NATO comments. Farage is trying to stay silent but i suspect his lack of strength here could be very toxic.

If Aberdeen dont have John McGlynn on there shortlist then there is serious issues. He is the obvious choice and should have been hired weeks ago. I worry another experiment is in the offing when what we need is an old school Scottish Manager who knows how to get the best out of players

If the recent Trump madness doesnt show you how much the press love chaos to sell stories nothing will. Its why they are so desperate to get Farage into Downing Street.

But we dont need that and its worrying as I do see small changes happening now that are positive.

All Trump cares about is money and power. There is no way the EU can wield more power over Trump/US so it must have been money. The very timely pulling yesterday of £100m Danish Pension funds on US investments may have been enough to warn off Trump here given very high US bonds exposure to Europe

The world’s wrongest man, Daniel Hannan, contending that Trump’s utter unfitness for office only emerged *yesterday*…

Because it’s the only way the irredeemable idiot can cling on to the delusion that he’s not an irredeemable idiot.

China has shown how you deal with trumps tarriffs...UK and Europe should apply an immediate 50% tariff on all US goods

The more i think about it I cannot understand why we arent looking at bringing John Mcglynn to Pittodrie. Really experienced Scottish manager with a great track record. Exactly what we need right now

Its such a shame he has a prick as Stuart Hogg in the form of his life just now

Reform now literally picking up Tory Party cast offs
I know Jenrick's been on the Ozempic so surely the irony of him joining The Light Tory Party can't be lost on him
