I’m husband, father, son and dotnet developer / architect.
As I said at the beginning - I truly believe AI is incredibly useful.
But today, in many companies, there’s a significant gap between expectations and measurable impact.

I’m very curious to see how 2026 will change this.

What if the clothes really do exist and everyone else can see them - except us?
What if the problem is us, not the clothes?

So everyone keeps praising the outfit.

What we might be missing is that small, honest child who dares to say:
“The emperor is naked.”

Yet very often it feels like everyone is describing how beautiful those clothes are…
while quietly avoiding the question of whether they actually see them.

Many organizations see investments, experimentation, pilots -but struggle to see real, measurable returns. And admitting that out loud is hard.

The current AI hype often reminds me of The Emperor’s New Clothes.

Big AI companies are, understandably, fueling the hype - weaving the “invisible clothes.”

Inside companies, people talk about how AI is already implemented everywhere, how it’s been adopted across processes, teams, and workflows.

For me, YouTube is not a good place to regularly follow any dev channel because the video is too slow to consume. For me, newsletters, blog feeds and blsk & linkedin are better. (It's my point of view)
But one channel I do follow and that is @nickchapsas.
