Poster of REAL (often ugly) American history. Not the feel-good bullshit they taught you in school.
Example: Hey Florida, the transatlantic slave trade was not, in fact, a vocational training program for immigrant Africans.
"In some cases, judges argued the cases would not affect enough ballots to change the outcome of the election or were filed too late and should have been lodged before the election."

"The strategy was initially embraced by Republican leaders who did not wish to challenge Trump’s refusal to concede and instead argued that the courts were a legitimate avenue to resolve election disputes.”

According to the Washington Post in Feb 2022, "After the election, Trump’s campaign, the Republican Party & key Trump allies like Sidney Powell & L. Lin Wood filed dozens of lawsuits challenging the election results in key swing states, including AZ, GA, MI, PA & WI."

Trump made many outlandish claims that he won in a landslide & Democrats stole the election.
Facts: Per the Washington Post, 3 months prior to the election, Trump made 1,277 false or misleading claims about the election & another 1,016 such claims in the remaining 3 months of his term.

In fact, the report notes that when a white person kills an African American, it is 281 percent more likely to be ruled a ‘justifiable homicide’ than white-on-white killing.

“Foreign invaders.” Ah.

These people imagine themselves as warriors engaged in valorous battle, when they’re just doing dull-witted racism.
Here is the Department of Homeland Security touting this new ban by describing the (among others) spouses and children of U.S. citizens coming on visas as "foreign invaders."

It has never been about legal versus illegal. They hate legal immigration. They want to stop it. That's the story.

Voter ID Laws reduce turnout among minority voters. Several studies, including a 2014 Government Accountability Office (GAO) study, have found that #PhotoID laws have a particularly depressive effect on turnout among racial minorities & other vulnerable groups.

And until recently, WI permitted active-duty military ID cards, but prohibited VA ID cards for voting. Voter ID Laws are enforced in a discriminatory manner. A Caltech/MIT study found minority voters are more frequently questioned about ID than White voters.

States exclude forms of ID in a discriminatory manner. For example, TX allows concealed weapons permits for voting, but not student ID cards. Before NC’s #VoterID Law was struck down, it banned public assistance & state employee ID cards, disproportionately held by Black American voters.

In TX, some ppl in rural areas travel up to 170 miles to reach the nearest ID office.
Facts: Voter #IDLaws are discriminatory. Minority voters disproportionately lack ID. Nationally, up to 25% of Black American citizens of voting age lack gov-issued #PhotoID, compared to only 8% of Whites.

The combined cost of document fees, travel expenses & waiting time are estimated to range from $75 - $175. Travel required to get documents & #PhotoID cards is often a major burden on people w/ disabilities, the elderly, or those in rural areas w/out access to a car or public transportation.

These voters are disproportionately low-income, racial & ethnic minorities, elderly & people w/ disabilities because obtaining #PhotoID costs money. Even if identification is offered for free, essential documents required to obtain ID represent a significant expense for lower-income Americans.

Facts: Strict photo ID laws, under which voters must present ONE of a limited set of forms of gov-issued #PhotoID in order to vote – no exceptions. This is a problem because more than 21 million Americans DO NOT have 1 of the forms of identification states deemed acceptable for voting.
