“The negotiation competition is a unique way for 1Ls to practice their advocacy skills in a semester heavy with doctrinal courses, and I enjoyed learning how to both stand firm for my client while remaining a collaborative partner at the negotiating table,” shared Toledo.

As testament to Frankel’s influence as an educator, her former student and BU Trustee Nate Dalton (’91) has named a new lecture series to celebrate her work. The Inaugural Tamar Frankel Lecture will be presented by Professor Ann Lipton (University of Colorado) on Monday, November 24.
