A Greater Angle-Winged Katydid. It is about an inch and a half long, the color of a leaf, and shaped like an elongated diamond. It has long, grasshopper-like legs. It is awkwardly caught in a flash photo, near the top of a very dirty window, looking at the camera person as if I were the pervert and not him, hollering at girls in hopes that he can flash his giant balls at them and mate.

Do any bug people recognize this moth? Google Lens is less than useless; when I added that it was an insect and not a purple martin, the AI *argued* with me! I have spent an hour trying to identify this thing, which should be easy enough to do given its whole look. Please help me!
Some kind of moth, and definitely not a bird no matter what AI says. It is tiny, the size of a pea. It is dusty black, with a large, prominent hump on its back nearly the length of its whole body. It is clinging to the edge of a building with two little feets visible and no visible face or antennae.

I woke up feeling creative again and sent another email to [email protected]. I hope this one better reflects my utility to the government and the importance of continuing in my role there:
1. Made breakfast using elaborate Rube Goldberg machine. Ate cereal instead. Spoke with colleague Dottie. Interaction felt strangely flirtatious and may need to consult further with HR on how to proceed. 2. Refused Francis Buxton’s offer to buy my special red bike, which may have led to bike being stolen. On advice of psychic, took a road trip to the basement of the Alamo, full of adventure and hijinks. Met Large Marge. 3. Learned that Alamo does not have basement. Survived attempted attack by waitress’s disgruntled ex-boyfriend by taking refuge at rodeo. After some accidental property damage while attempting to make phone call at a biker bar, I de-escalated the situation with my sick dance moves. 4. Suffered major medical incident and was hospitalized in Burbank, CA. Saw that bicycle was currently being held at Warner Bros. film studio as a prop, and went to retrieve bike. Aided various animals in escaping a burning pet store en route. 5. Retrieved bike and negotiated potential legal peril into licensure of story rights. Returned home. Have chosen not to pursue HR action against Dottie, but may seek medical leave for PTSD counseling as the theft of my special red bicycle triggered a series of disturbing nightmares.
