The holiday event I was looking forward to was cancelled due to the weather…bummer. Decided to still get the pups out to see #Santa and picked up a tray of holiday cookies! Opal was a bit apprehensive but warmed up. Coral wanted nothing to do with Santa! (My hand is on her shoulder) #dogsofbluesky

However, I do like to mix it up with the dogs periodically and go for a short run during our hikes. Dogs were obviously confused at first 🤣 #dogsofbluesky

Second stop today was #BooneCountyArboretum where it was a nice 2.2mi hike along a paved path. VERY nicely done arboretum with sections carved out for the various kinds of tree species (ash, oak, etc) #Winter100Challenge #dogsofbluesky #myadventurechallenge

An old #girlscout camp converted into a nature preserve, #MyeerahNaturePreserve. Variety of habitats on the 3.1mi Red Trail. 29*F, windy, and snowing made it a tough-to-enjoy outing, but once ya warm up a lil, it’s not bad! #Winter100Challenge #myadventurechallenge #dogsofbluesky #hiking

Short sniff walks are the best for entertaining your dogs. Sniff walks, IMO, are walks where the dogs can stop and sniff for as long as they want as much as they want. It’s basically social media for dogs! Go day or night and the newsfeed changes for them #dogsofbluesky #sniffwalks
