Yeah, it ain’t a needle mover by any stretch, and it’s serious money, not late winter end-of-bench cash. We are gonna see. It feels like there is a path here where this works, but it might end up being a big ol WTF was AA thinking.

Somebody’s gonna get hurt. I almost don’t mind investing in depth. He hits rightys. Lineup has had too many dead spots the past two years between injuries and underperformance. I’m not overjoyed, but I see some value on quick first blush.

What I DO REALLY like about this is he’s not getting that deal to sit. Braves are finally going to rotate players, play hot hands, flexibility/matchups. THAT is a good thing, in my opinion.

Screw it. Get some impactful pitching and let’s ride.

I wouldn’t hate it (King or Suarez in particular - I really think this team needs to add an impact starter). I just don’t think they will do it because they want the extra pool money that comes with the pick.

At least the Braves got that extra first-round pick for Baldwin winning rookie of the year. Don’t see Atlanta giving up that pick by signing a qualifying offer free agent.

May we expunge everything about 2025 - other than Drake Baldwin and Hurston Waldrep - from our memories.
