original kh2 was a strange experience. way more used to critical mode's damage scaling vs proud's nerfed damage. makes normal encounters really slow, but incentivizes limits and drive forms more.
reflect did not need the buff in final mix. it's fine here.

hot take: i think red should be portrayed without pikachu more often. never been a fan of the "canonization" of yellow version and the conflation with ash. i stadium 2's take on him. it shows that he's continuing to catch and experiment with a variety of pokemon. he's still growing. 🥹
