The best case implication for using "AI" tools in business is that faster access to information/insights/whatever will improve decision-making.

And I'm just like, look we've had basically instant access to all documented human knowledge for 20 years and yet I find evidence-based decisions scarce.

It's far from too late to get LLMs out of stuff.

Yeah, the internet is verging on being a superfund site right now, but good sources of information exist. Writers and artists and coders and interaction designers exist. What seems convenient in the short-term becomes tedious and unrewarding.

Design criticism remains stuck in nostalgia for the glory days of graphic design, so it never made the leap to coherent criticism of interactive digital products and services where the thing you need to critique is the underlying business model because everything follows from that.
