So yes, it's a tank. A swedish S Tank.

It was an amazing design created to maximize Sweden's terrain in the face a Soviet tank invasion.

Here a few recent pics from the Arsenalen Tank Museum in Sweden.

A Unique tank but a tank none the less.

The PBY Catalina/Canso. As a kid I was disappointed it was not “gunned up” like the B-17. As I grew I realized what a massive impact that aircraft had during WW 2. From combat rescue, to scouting, to anti-submarine patrols. It could do it all.

Today marks my 53rd year on this wonderful world. In the past year I've continued to work on my Centurion tank book, added Horology to my interests and been lucky enough to spend time with epic friends as well as encounter amazing new folks as well. May the coming year be better for us all.

The Centurion Tank was the best Tank of the 20th century based on its effectiveness in battle serving a variety of countries and conflicts. Its ability to adapt with whatever needs and demands made of it are second to none, IMO.

A quick update on my burgeoning interest in #Watches / #Horology. As fascinated as I am by automatic/mechanical movements I currently have 2 Quartz watches. The amazing Timex Expedition Scout, and the interesting AVI-8 Hawker Hurricane Carey. I have a feeling this collection will grow this year.
