It's awful that it took them so long to scrap it. Well done to yourself and the other prominent Greens for putting the pressure on that led to it happening today.

Also: good riddance.

Yes, let's not have environmental or social justice because The Sun misrepresented Zack Polanski over a decade ago. 🤦

Because the value of the investment has increased. This increases the investor's wealth despite them doing nothing to earn it. They should pay tax at a rate equivalent to someone earning through hard work.

It's legal for human beings to seek asylum wherever they choose, however they arrive.

I posted the questions as examples of what the pollsters could have asked.

I'm not really interested in debating people who have never met an asylum seeker but are inexplicably afraid of them.

Pregnancy is already a time of increased anxiety for expecting parents. I feel like the headline of the article carries a certainty that the quote does not support. It's important that this research is undertaken but we need to be careful not to fuel anxiety based on scarce evidence.

People, human beings, who are claiming asylum, should be allowed to work. Some people, whether they are asylum seekers or have lived in the UK their whole lives, need support to work and some people need support with their physical and mental health first. We can afford a compassionate approach. 💚
