Lift I most regret getting off a colleague was a guy who constantly looked down at his phone and also gunned the accelerator constantly. most reckless driver I've ever been in a car with. Didn't even wear a seatbelt which surprised me a bit.

Lift I most regret getting off a colleague was a guy who constantly looked down at his phone and also gunned the accelerator constantly. most reckless driver I've ever been in a car with. Didn't even wear a seatbelt which surprised me a bit.
Watched a video earlier about a well-known rail disaster here, the guy shows a S&C diagram with no check rails and calls the wings check rails 😭

connection from a switch to our router had dropped to 100mbit, disconnected it, tested the cables, put it all back together, now it's back at 1000mbit. what was wrong? why is it working now? who knows, it's all magic

well, went to the coffee meet yesterday and it was fine. The position I was sitting in kinda helped, when you realise how many people are on their phones and not talking to each other, it feels a bit less lonely!

yay, been told I'm medically ineligible to hold SW because my medical is level 2.
I'm not even 100% confident that this is actually correct because all they've done is quote their own site at me, but it's not like I can actually read the relevant network rail standard anyway.
