Do any programming languages or IDEs have a better workflow for setting a breakpoint, writing code in the REPL, and replacing the breakpoint with the code you typed in the REPL?
In Ruby and Python, I write a lot of code by inserting binding.pry or breakpoint() calls and it feels so manual.

End of an era, I guess. I have a relatively high rep on SO despite not using the site much and it's all due to asking how to generate PDFs in the browser back in 2009 when it couldn't yet be done.
