How about a House discharge petition on a bill to protect Medicare, restore Medicaid and restore ACA subsidies.

Because my wife hated having to to fill up to carbon breathing hog on the way out of town in the morning, I drove to the carbon station 10-min, filled up 10-min and drove home 10-min. Total 30-min the night before.

Add up the time you spend in gas stations vs the 85% of my charging at home.

Remember to count the time in the gas station before you start. 85% of EV charging is done at home. That means you start with a full battery instead of having to gas up on the way out of town.

For day trips I have no problem going 300+ miles with a 30-min charge. In my previous gas / carbon hog the fill up was always 20-min with time in the minimart and bathroom. Everybody can afford the extra 10 minutes, particularly since I left home full and did not stop on the way out of town.

I off road almost every weekend in my Rivian R1T, 350 miles of range depending on how steep the terrain is.
