I'm on mission 2 of the Bulge expansion. Very different experience. Missions/Terrain are much more curated (less random), more difficult and, in some cases, more difficult to figure out rules-wise.

My experience was similar. I actually found the Keep up the Fire standalone mission to be more difficult than the Normandy missions. I think 90% of my units were veterans by mission 4 of Normandy.

Decks for all the powers and full rules for using them uploaded to BGG but awaiting moderator approval. Cards and almost unreadable rules available as "HISBOT" in Tabletop Simulator workshop on Steam. Finished initial playtest - Protestant bot won the last game (I was France).

Each power has a behavior deck to determine what deals they negotiate, who they attack, and how they spend CPs. I'll be posting the HISBOT cards/rules on Board Game Geek this week. My move on Florence failed, of course.

Jealous. I've only played three full games, and the last one was probably 15 years ago. Still probably my favorite board game ever. I miss it so much I'm working on bot rules and behavior decks for each of the major powers so we can play with any number of human players.
