Before my son was born in 1999 in Plymouth we attended an antenatal class & we were encouraged to also attend an “active birth class”. The message she gave was very dangerous: essentially doctors & midwives are not to be trusted b/c they want to medicalise birth so stay away from them at all costs

and the colour of it says that it's been boiled to within an inch of its life. You can imagine the chef saying "I think there are still some traces of nutrients in there, boil for another 10 minutes and then hopefully they'll all be gone"

I hadn't clocked that was sweetcorn, blimey that has been boiled to within an inch of its life. I am sure the kitchen can guarantee it is nutrient free in that state.

I know, and the buyer's remorse kicked in as soon as I got home. decided I would try to return them but apparently once you have made yourself a cup of tea with the milk and a couple of slices of toast they don't offer refunds. what's that about???
