I have a goal to rebuild my photo portfolio by the end of this year so I’m churning through my archives and working on fresh edits of everything. Here’s a portrait series I did for BLM Canada years ago.

When I started making films, I was my own DP, production designer, editor, etc. But as I worked my way up the ranks I started relying on my collaborators more and more. This portrait of my friend in her studio was my attempt at getting back to basics and doing it all myself.
