So many people are struggling and Trump is very focused on himself and the very wealthy. The American president should represent the interests of common men and woman who work for a living and want food, healthcare, and education for themselves and their families, while doing right by others.

Mad respect to the residents Minnesota who are out both protesting and defending others from ICE. You almost have me convinced that there is goodness in humanity. The qualification of 'almost' is not a lack of effort on your part, it's the genuine Nazi level evil of ICE, Trump, and billionaires.

Dear Democrats @democrats.org , please start acting like everything that is good about the USA is on the line. These are extraordinary times and you need to show extraordinary courage. Find ways to hold the guilty accountable and protect as many people from harm as you can. Wear the white hat.

I have stepped away from the news this week, too much going on in my immediate life. Reading more. Reading a book that makes me feel like I exist and that is okay. Representation and diversity is so important in literature. I knew that, but I really grok it this morning.
