Following Governor Stein's veto, Duke Energy's lobbyists and Republican leaders leaned on several Democrats in the State House to override the veto, and three finally did. Those Democrats are Rep. Carla Cunningham, Rep. Nasif Majeed, and Rep. Shelley Willingham. SB 266 is now law.
