Really difficult to do that systematically - often not clear on the face of the law (& regs) if a registration requirement must be fulfilled within a certain time or not, or even if a registration requirement is procedural or substantive in terms of acquisition of nationality by the child.

But in many cases nationality is transmitted indefinitely even for multiple generations of children born outside the territory. That's why profile of dual citizens and stateless persons is so similar. All a question of evidence (and discrimination in application of the law).

Almost all countries confer citizenship at birth in most cases by operation of law without an application, whether jus soli or jus sanguinis system (ofc with exceptions eg children of nationals born outside the territory, where consular registration may be needed for nationality to be acquired)
