unpacked a kiln and this side plate was in there - its a bit of a test cos i mixed up red and blue stain to make a purple slip but its so interesting how it can change it so much! on the left is bisque fired and on the right is clear glaze and then fired to cone 8

took the scruffies to check out a new park while we’re running errands and yes dog parks can be terrible but gosh it’s so nice when council have put some thought and effort into a dog park rather than just plonking a paddock somewhere

in much more exciting news i also unpacked a bisque kiln and the big commission bowl made it through with no cracks! 7th time is a charm apparently 🙃 cannot wait to sort the finishing touches and glaze and fire her again

just found this little bean sitting in the middle of the highway 😫 he let me pick him up so i put him in a box and took him to the wonderful local vet. by the time we got there he was scrabbling around so hopefully it was just shock and he’s going to be ok! 🤞🏼
