💯💯💯Yes to all of this!! I wish your entire thread could be published in an soap online article. This is why I stopped watching. It became too painful to see them infantilize Trina. The writers are stripping the characteristics we love about her. You're right, it's all rooted in racism & colorism.

...I already know what that's rooted in. I've seen the double standards certain viewers allow for in white characters isn't extended to black female characters. If anything it prompts this conversation of wanting them extricated from the canvas; "But, General Hospital is for everyone."🙄
