Gave an explanation om Shadians below but basically Shadians are a pseudo-parasytic life for that adapts itself into a sense of "being" after spending a long time near something.
These Shadians became sheep by watching them graze and joining in. They are molded by their environment

For example, Bill altered its body to help its job (lanky build, rake-like hands, and patch-like scarecrow body)' while Mary went Umbra route and was raised a shepherd l but with the addition of hands to help her work diligently and help her around.
This also applies to others.

However,A Shadian that spends time near something/someone and focuses on said thing,persons, or people will slowly shape its being and self, as well as mental capacities and personality, around said focus. They basically learn to become what they want through interactions...

So expanding on character lore via designs atm.
All these,as well as Hansel and Umbra, are beings known as "Shadians"; magical in nature and rather strange.They dont naturally have form, and when they do get a form, its usually parasitic in nature to whatever is nearby.
