Just finished my reading for week 1 of this course. Looking forward to it. Hopefully, I've worked out correctly the time difference between Central Time (USA) and time here in Glasgow! #reading #learning

Happy Christmas everyone. Christ, he who is God of God, light of light, very God, begotten, not created, became what we are that we might become what he is, Hallelujah. #Christmas

I spotted this plaque on a wall near the High Street end of Duke Street yesterday. It seems the East End of Glasgow is fighting back against claims by those in the west that Argyle Street is the longest street in Scotland!

Huckabee says GHF has served 100 million meals in 2 months. Do the maths, that is less than one meal per day per person for the population of Gaza. #Gaza

Big thanks to @chrisgpackham.bsky.social for inside our dyslexic minds. I was not diagnosed until I was in my 40's and doing a PhD. Every person is unique but there was much I could identify with in the program. www.bbc.co.uk/iplayer/epis...

Here's a question. Why, in almost all reports on Blair's statement, have his fossil fuel interests not been mentioned?

@andyburke1.bsky.social Dave Cherry has exceeded my expectations this 6N, but Ashman has been disappointing. Do Scotland/Glasgow or Edinburgh have a dedicated throwing coach/consultant, someone doing a similar role to Mossy with the kickers? 1/2

Mary Barbour at 10 Hutton Dr in 1915 during the Glasgow rent strikes. The strikes, led by Mary, were a protest at rent hikes by greedy landlords keen to exploit overcrowding. They were successful and in Nov 1915 legislation limited rents to pre-war levels

@andyburke1.bsky.social Scottish rugby always seem to be on the wrong side of 50/50 ref calls. Why? It is a pattern. If past TMO actions are anything to go by if Freeman had been wearing the dark blue of Scotland the grounding for the try which was awarded would have been looked at 100 times!

My son is doing his final year university dissertation on electronic waste. As part of his research he's looking for people to complete a short questionnaire. It would be brilliant if you were able to complete the questionnaire and also share with your network. Thanks
