Watching a fanshot of a recent Radiohead show in London, and was clicking around on setlist.fm, where I love finding little dumb things. For Kid A, Thom Yorke has played it solo 7 times, which is slightly more than 2 Radiohead cover bands, but half as often as John Mayer. Punch Bros dwarf both

He would lose this competition, but at least an honorable mention for Glenn Howerton in AP Bio, a show that I am convinced they color-corrected just to match his eyes. Everything was slightly blue-green tinted and made his eyes pop like crazy

In the days leading up to the Mamdani White House trip, Marquette ran a poll, and the numbers are already very intriguing (and you'd have to imagine an even more positive shift in sentiment after the meeting). Consistently, economic populism + unabashed, unashamed "woke" = politicians people like.

Every time election maps come out, it's astounding how accurate-to-the-vibes they are. As a past resident of the East Village, East Harlem, Crown Heights, and Bushwick (and very likely one of those again within the next year), it's a confirmation of what just feels true

Two of my Letterboxd top 4 (including #1) fall in this category, so I tend to agree. And to be frank I'm a little surprised that the other two don't, as I would've thought their "offputting to normies" levels would be higher.
