Monkey. A popular kids and yoof tv show in Australia in the 80s. Dead ringer, even the sideburns... just needs the torc and costume.

A mouse moved in with me in winter. I had been feeding it in a containment strategy. But it started getting adventurous. Mabel has found it. It was beautiful and I was soon to make the difficult decision to live trap and release it over the fence where the tiger snakes stir.

From sunset today is the Jewish feast of Rosh Hashanah. Blessings to those who are observing, sweetness and abundance for the year ahead. Happy birthday, World.
