This Help channel, as far as I can tell, doesn't exist?

I've never directly submitted a game to a jam that I developed 100% inside the game jam's entry period and still not been sure if it will count.

I'm not even 100% sure these are supposed to be the requirements. There's so much conflicting information and nonsense.
Game Jolt support is also telling people they can submit games made outside the submission period under the link where it says the jam is to see what you can make in 10 days.

You would really think a Game Jam with this description wouldn't require you to fill out a Google Form with all your personal information, upload a gameplay trailer to YouTube, and join an entirely separate gamedev contest running in a completely different time frame, but what the fuck do I know

Taking a small break from RPG Maker and making a micro-VN for a game jam.

Codebase is done. Script will likely be finished tomorrow. The last few days will be about polishing and putting in proper visual assets.

The game all takes place in one room, a therapist's office.

Nobody's really made a big deal out of it or anything, but the PR people joke about and "cutesify" the game's content pretty often. It just feels like they don't have the maturity they should have given the game they're in charge of managing.

Decided to make a neocities for the GameMaker tutorial instead, since it wouldn't fit in an itch.io post.
I'm now just working backwards from Word's .html export to fix formatting problems and get everything how I want it to look.
